  i've been gone from the "truth" for 9 years this month.

  i have very little contact with my witness family.

  every year around this time i get a letter from my grandparents.

  How about you send THEM a letter saying how well YOU are doing, without having to sell books for nothing, spending 30 or so extra hours a week of your life working for a publishing company? Working for an org. that ruins lives, kills kids with its blood policy and covers up for child molesters and cavorts with the wild beast of babylon? How you get to wake up on saturday and finally watch all the cartoons you missed as a kid?

  Tempting but it would not accomplish anything. I stopped writing back after year 4. Sending back the letter return to sender will send a real message....leave me alone and don't contact me.

  I've been gone from the "truth" for 9 years this month. I have very little contact with my witness family. Every year around this time I get a letter from my grandparents. It's full of guilt and some updates about the family. They tell me this because they want me to feel I am missing out. In the past I always looked forward to these letters because at least I would have some kind of idea about what is going on in the family. My parents are not that forthcoming. I go back to my house to check the mail once a week (its being remodeled) and lo and behold there is a letter. I had no desire to open the letter and I took pen out and put return to sender and put it back in my mail box. My grandparents and the rest of my JW family can keep their crumbs. I don't need them.

  we've been expecting it since the memorial, and i was hoping it would come by registered mail so .

  i could refuse it, but noooooo, it comes in a normal first class envelope.

  Before I read your last post I was going to advise you to not write back anything because elders do not deserve the time of day. After reading what you sent them I think it's hilarious and tell them exactly what you think of them......they are a joke.

  toughest question anyone can ask, if the love of your life, and mate/wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend messed around on you, whether it be once or for years, how would you handle it and what would you do, think about it slowly and carefully.. wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.. it's said that 50 % of marriages are affected by an affair, it's probaly alot higher.. did you notice any affairs in your congregation ???.

  I will go on the chopping block and admit I cheated on a long term girlfriend. We were together over 4 years. She forgave me but our relationship was never the same. 1 1/2 years later she cheated on me with her boss at work. She started to confide in him our relationship problems and over the course of that year they got extremely close. She fell in love with him and dumped me. They are married now and expecting a child. It's still painful to think about. If I had not cheated on her I don't think she would have left me for her boss and we would still be together.

  got called on by 2 elders a month ago w/ allegation that i was "living in sin."

  I'm surprised they bothered to call. They would show up at my place whenever they felt like it hoping to see a girl come out. After 2 months I had enough and decided that it was time for df'ing #3. I told the girl I was dating at the time to answer the door wearing my robe. I came to the door in my underwear and told them you have your dirt now be on your way. Believe it or not they tried to get me in a JC meeting. Why I have no idea. Maybe they wanted to hear the salacious details. I cannot believe I tolerated that kind of behavior back then. Never again.

  I'm cleaning out my closet!!!

  looking in my closet this morning, i saw all these clothes that i bought for the meetings .............. i would not be caught dead in now!!!!!!!.

  long frumpy skirts........blouses the my grandma would not wear........i really struggled, and even was more "hip" than most.........ugggggggg.
